Planned Giving

Support our Capital Initiative

As an important part of the Chazak Initiative, we are establishing the L’Dor V’Dor Society. Membership in the Society is open to all who have identified Congregation Shalom as a beneficiary in their estate plan, whether as a beneficiary under a will, living trust, charitable trust, retirement plan, insurance policy or other estate planning vehicle.*

Whether you wish to support our Capital Initiative, Endowment Fund or contribute toward other designated or non-designated needs, becoming a member of the L’Dor V’Dor Society demonstrates a commitment to supporting Congregation Shalom in perpetuity. Congregation Shalom accepts gifts of cash, stock, bonds, insurance policies and other assets. When determining the best way to leave a legacy to Shalom, a variety of options are available. Some of the most commonly used approaches include:

  • Bequests
  • Charitable Remainder Trust
  • Charitable Loan Trust
  • Gifts of Retirement Assets
